LILLY OF THE VALLEY

The Latin name for this flower is Convallaria Majalis, commonly known as Lilly of the Valley. Simply because it likes to live in a cold temperature and damp area.

Bunga bernama latin Convallaria Majalis ini dikenal dengan nama Lilly of the Valley. Ini karena ia senang tumbuh di tempat yang bersuhu dingin atau lembab.

This plant is quite famous and mainly loved as garden decorations. The shape is beautiful also.

Tanaman ini cukup terkenal dan disukai sebagai penghias kebun. Bentuknya juga cantik.

The color of the flower is broken white, but sometimes it can be found in pink as well. The shape of the flower resembles a bell and ussually it blooms in spring and on the beginning of March.

Bunganya berwarna putih susu. Tapi kadang ditemukan juga berwarna merah jambu. Bentuknya seperti bel dan biasanya mekar pada musim semi atau awal Maret.

At World War I, Convallaria Majalis mainly used to cure the tear gas victims.

Pada perang dunia I, Convallaria Majalis banyak digunakan untuk mengobati korban gas air mata.

Beside as the National Flower of Finland, Lilly of the Valley also sold in France every first of May.

Selain Merupakan bunga kebangsaan negeri Finlandia, Lilly of the Valley juga sering ditemukan dijual di Perancis setiap 1 Mei.
